The WFA Secretary would like to inform all National Federation with regret that this championship has been canceled which was planned to be held in Algiers, Algeria on 28 September to 05 October 2016.

The WFA Secretary has been formally informed by the President of Algerian Weightlifting Federation for hosting the upcoming African Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships planned to be held in Algiers, Algeria on 28 September to 05 October 2016.

The WFA Secretary, would like to address to all national federations/associations to give them the opportunity for hosting this continental championship during this year 2016.
