The African Weightlifting Family was shocked to hear the sad news of the death of Housseyn Fardjallah Algerian male weightlifter at age 23, competing in the 77 kg category and representing Algeria at international competitions, died so suddenly in a traffic collision.
Although the African Weightlifting Family admired his talent in our lovely sport, his kindness with everyone, all African Weightlifting Family present its condolence to his family, friends and to the Algerian weightlifting federation for this lost.
May his Soul rest in peace, and we pray for God to give his Family as well as the Algerian weightlifting family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
Housseyn Fardjallah (16 January 1993 – 20 November 2016) was an Algerian male weightlifter, competing in the 77 kg category and representing Algeria at international competitions.
As a junior he competed at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics in the boys’ 69 kg event.
He participated at the 2013 Mediterranean Games in the 77 kg event.
He won the bronze medal at the 2015 African Games.
He won the silver medal at the 2016 African Weightlifting Championships after finishing first in the snatch (150 kg) and second in the clean & jerk (185 kg).
Fardjallah died on 20 November 2016 in a traffic collision at age 23.

توفي الرباع الدولي الجزائري الشاب حسين فرج الله (23 سنة) في حادث سير وقّع فجر الأحد بغليزان. حسبما علم الأحد من الاتحادية الجزائرية لرفع الأثقال.
ووقع الحادث المميت على مستوى الطريق السيار شرق-غرب بالمنطقة المسماة “دوار القواسمية” بإقليم بلدية يلل ( ولاية غليزان) إثر اصطدام بين سيارتين وشاحنة مما أسفر عن وفاة فرج الله بعين المكان وإصابة الصديق الذي كان برفقته.
