WFA organized a training camp in Besancon – France for the qualified African
male and female athletes for Paris 2024 Olympic Games a period July 12-27, 2024

An agreement signed between the Grand Besançon Métropole (GBM), and the Weightlifting Federation of Africa (WFA), and providing comfortable accommodation, Health catering, and all technical and health facilities with 24 hours liaison officer.

the a total number of seven African athletes (2 men and 5 women) participated in this camp with their coaches as following:
1- Egypt: 1 man + 2 women (International ranking)
a) Mr. Karim Ibrahim ABOKAHLA (89 kg men)
b) Ms. Sara Samir AHMED (81 kg women)
c) Ms. Halima Abdelazim ABBAS (+81 kg women)
2- Nigeria: 2 women (International ranking)
a) Ms. Rafiatu Folashade LAWAL (59 kg women)
b) Ms. Joy Ogbonne EZE (71 kg women)
3- Madagascar: 1 woman (Continental representation)
Ms. Rosina RANDAFIARISON (49 kg women)
4- Libya: 1 man (Universality place)
Mr. Ahmed Mustafa ABUZRIBA (102 KG MEN)

training camp in high level.
